How we work

01Understand the brief

We discuss the application, material, GSM, size, quantity and expected performance.

02Prepare samples

Sampling is the first step to test fibre behaviour and assess whether the paper meets the brief.

03Review & refine

We share the sample sheets and discuss observations, adjustments and next steps.

04Plan production

Once the sample is approved, we discuss feasibility, costing, timeline and production quantity.

Sampling charges and timelines are shared according to the project brief.

Our place & practice

Made in relationship with material and people.

Koraj Crafts works from the context of Tejgadh in Gujarat, where papermaking brings together material exploration, hand skills and local knowledge. Our practice connects agricultural by-products with the possibilities of handmade paper, while working alongside local artisans and makers.

We see papermaking as both a craft and a process of learning: understanding a fibre, preparing pulp, forming a sheet, testing its qualities and finding where it can be useful.
